Summary •
Issue 18 of the bulletin is devoted to the current state of monitoring and conservation of large carnivorans in Ukraine, primarily within the network of nature reserves. It provides reviews of historical data on the study of these predators and new materials, including analyses of species distributions, estimates of abundances in particular areas, and related conservation. The materials are grouped into four sections: 1) general information (3 articles); 2) materials on bears (13); 3) materials on lynxes (15); 4) research methods (4); and 5) chronicle and information (7).
