Summary. Issue 13 of the bulletin Novitates Theriologicae is devoted to current research on the fauna of wild mammals and its various representatives. Attention is paid to estimates of the state of populations under the conditions of changing environment, species’ abundance, distribution limits, and ecological features. The collection of works con-tains 24 papers grouped into six sections: (1) regional fauna; (2) analysis of various groups; (3) species at the limits of their distribution; (4) synanthropy and conserva-tion; (5) research methods; and (6) chronicle and information. This issue was initiated by the Council of Theriological School.
