Drawings
belong to the important concentrated expressions
of information that attract attention and are a
kind of ‘language’ of communication between the
author and the viewer (reader). They allow clearly
highlighting the main points, emphasize certain
details, or reflect the nature of natural objects
without too much detail. It is one of the ways to
explore and study reality. In these materials, a
small selection of drawings with the most concise
text was prepared, some of which were exhibited
in 1991 in the Department of Nature of the Zhytomyr
Regional Museum of Local Lore at the exhibition
‘From the Diary of a Naturalist.’ All of them were
created and accumulated gradually, often as illustrations
to field diaries. |
