abstract

The article analyses the list of the museum's collectors based on the database of the collection. Among the names of the researchers are 63 collectors of stuffed animals and 26 collectors of skins (lists overlap by 5 names). The following five colleagues made the greatest contribution to the exhibition part of the collection: O. Salgansky (168 specimens), O. Danilovych (134), D. Vladyshevsky (32), Y. Hayevoy (33), and S. Slavkov (11). The greatest contribution to the development of the scientific collections was made by O. Danylovych (173 specimens), O. Tyahunov (140), V. Pushkar (14), A. Voitenko (9), and O. Salgansky (8). The list of people who worked in the museum on a permanent basis includes D. Vladyshevsky, A. Voitenko, O. Danylovych, O. Salgansky, and O. Tiagunov, of whom O. Danylovych (until 1953) and S. Slavkov (until 1997) were the key figures.
