Fauna of Eastern Ukraine
(Proceedings of
the Theriological School, volume 7)
Summary.
An issue is devoted to research of wild mammals of Eastern
Ukraine, as on the protected territories as in the region
in a whole. Basis of this edition was made by the printed
and handwritten matters, prepared by known Ukrainian theriologist
Alexander Kondratenko (1975–2004), who studied history
of researches, modern state of fauna, mammal distribution
and ecology. Edition contains 8 new articles by O. Kondratenko.
Publications are grouped in 6 sections: history of researches
& fauna reviews, analysis of fauna composition, analysis
of communities, fauna protection, investigations of colleagues,
reminiscences, chronicle, together 53 materials.
