Bats of Ukraine and adjacent countries:
a guide for field investigations

Summary. A Guide is addressed to zoologists and all amatours who carry out investigations of nats in field conditions. This guide includes the review of bat fauna composition, distribution of bat fauna in a space and in a time, with morphological peculiarities of species as well as their distribution. Methods of searching of bat shelters and capturing of bats are described. Keys to all the genera and species of bats known in Ukraine and adjacent countries are presented. For all the species, brief essays with information on distribution (with maps), abundance, habitats, migration status are prepared.
